The Watermen and the Sailors: A Love Story | From the Pen Cup
Mary’s posts are always a pleasure to read, and this post definitely put a smile on my face. I’m not a fan of orange ink (my friends back in high school knew this unfortunately, and used to write me notes all in orange) but in the company of such gorgeous looking pens and inks, I’m not sure I can say that anymore. Her handwriting is not so bad on the eyes, either. ;)
The Blackwing as a gateway drug by Jon Bemis at The Pen Addict
What a great story. And eraser schnibbles! That’s totally a technical term that I’m adding to my vocabulary.

Again, I might write a separate post on these one-inch wonders later. They’re cute!

L!FE x White Atelier by Converse Noble Memo
I just started following L!FE on Twitter and came across this gem of a note pad, a collaboration with L!FE and White Atelier by Converse, an official Converse store in Harajuku, Tokyo. Adding this to a very long list of things that require a plane ride. I mean, check out that pearly foil!
Midori Eraser Dust Mini Cleaner II
You know, for eraser schnibbles.

San Francisco (and Portland!)
Japan Film Festival of San Francisco, August 2015
Coming up very soon, and it’s not just for anime fans. But an animated spin-off of an old favorite, Hana and Alice? I’m a bit cautious with this but with Iwai Shunji as the director, it can’t be that bad hopefully? A lot of interesting dramas in the festival, including Pale Moon, but documentaries such as The Birth of Saké and The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness are my picks.
Renegade Craft Fair - San Francisco
Not sure if I’ll make it today (last day) but it’s at the usual venue, Fort Mason Center. Draplin Design Co. will be at the Portland fair, July 25–26. DDC Merch!
Peace,
